Christmas is almost upon us! So are the travelling fairs from Europe and beyond. At one of these were an assortment of hand-painted kitchen ware from Israel. It was fun painting this little dish with its striking cobalt blue rim. I thought the contrasting colours of the pears in it made an appealing subject.
