Pomegranates in Chinese pot

On a trip to the Far East some years back, I came across this old wooden pot with lid in an antique shop. With its deep red colours and fading gold decorations it took pride of place nestled between books in a bookcase.
Over time though it was much admired it was sometimes forgotten. Now filled with pomegranates it has again been given pride of place in my gallery of artistic endeavours.
